I totally get that tbh. It’s more meaningful coming from someone who sees both your good and bad sides, as opposed to a total stranger.

Yup! It’s nice to say, but there’s no meaning behind it if you don’t know the person at all!

Affirmations don’t work on me, never did, and this is one of the reasons why. Counselors/therapists love me 😀

That’s the ones who don’t run screaming when they find out I’m a schizophrenic in the first place. Seriously, the looks on their faces when they find out is hilarious. Never met one that didn’t flinch at “I’m schizophrenic, will you still treat me?”
