the sexual tension between two gas stations on the same intersection

I’m so sick of this shit. Two gastations can’t even be on the same block without some walnut shipping them, while I can’t find a single fic for dennys/applebees with dennys bottoming.

you’re literally out of your mind if you think Dennys isnt a top

I wish the 2012 apocalypse actually happened

mayalaen: Under the Missile ToeSPNColdestHits’ December Prompt (Posting Dates 15-18) @thayerkerbasy won November’s Writing Challenge, which means they get to pick the theme for December, and they’ve decided on Under the Missile Toe! Your fic needs to be inspired by the title of a Christmas song. The fic does not have to be about Christmas, …

For those of us (well, me) who have never been to a Dennys, can I get some pointers here?

It’s a breakfast-y restaurant that’s open 24 hours a day (in most locations). They serve mostly breakfast, but also have burgers and fries and salads and chicken and pot roast, but most people go there for breakfast food.

Denny’s are kinda like liminal spaces – like walking into the Twilight Zone or where reality feels a bit altered. You’ll sit next to a perfectly normal looking Stepford-esque family on one side, and on the other side you’ll have a group of ravers who just got out of a concert, are biting glow sticks, and have body paint all over them and across the room there will be a table full of farmers who just came for coffee and pie, still in their overalls and mud-caked boots, but no one thinks anyone else is strange in a Denny’s. All of humanity gathers there for food and is at peace with one another, at least until they leave.

Time has no meaning in a Denny’s. You’ll see babies and small children alert and eating food at 3am while policemen are ushered to a separate part of the restaurant where they keep the lighting low (because officers working at night need to stay sharp and can’t have bright lights in their eyes or else it throws off their night vision).

If you’d like to see their menu, Check Out Their Website.

They also have a @dennys account here on Tumblr. Check it out and you’ll see the awesome PR person they have who KNOWS how to post funny shit on Tumblr 😀
